The checkered flag has fallen on the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, providing an opportunity to look back at some of the figures that marked the team’s ninth participation.

Sébastian Alvarez was the only Mexican driver to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. In total, more than thirty-three different countries were represented at this 93rd edition.

Of the five young women competing, only our driver Jamie Chadwick is racing in the LMP2 category. It should be noted that she is currently leading the ELMS championship with her teammates, Dani Juncadella and Mathys Jaubert in the #18 Oreca, after winning the races in Barcelona and Le Castellet.

Among the thirty-six, three rookies have joined IDEC SPORT this year. Mathys Jaubert and Jamie Chadwick in the #18 and Sébastian Alvarez in the #28. Paul Lafargue has nine participations to his name, while Dutchman Job Van Uitert has seven. André Lotterer has just completed his 14th lap.

The official broadcaster L’Equipe provided over 30 hours of live coverage during the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, during which IDEC SPORT was in the spotlight either live or through dedicated reports. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the media outlets that highlighted the team, whether local, regional, national, or international, in print, digital, TV, or radio. It was also a real pleasure to see so many of you at our press conference on Thursday morning.

When we talk about a 24-hour race, it’s actually much more than that for the team. On average, the team arrives at the circuit around 8 a.m. on Saturday morning and leaves (when everything has gone well) on Sunday in the early evening. Each year, Groupe IDEC and IDEC SPORT, through their commitment to top-level sport, invite children to experience powerful emotions and step outside their daily lives.
This year, three associations came to meet the drivers: Trisomy 21, Sensory Impairments and Learning Disabilities, and Secours Populaire.
It’s a project wholeheartedly supported by the entire team. Seeing their eyes light up and their smiles — that’s priceless.

Having multiple cars in a category as demanding as LMP2, especially in a race like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is a true logistical and human challenge.
From the race engineers to performance analysts and mechanics, including the technical director, team principal, systems engineers, regulations experts, logistics staff, osteopath, tire specialists, team coordinators, communication and press officers, marketing, catering, carbon specialists, and livery teams — every single person is recognized and valued for their essential contribution.

With around ten people visiting the stands each time, almost 80 rotations were organized between Wednesday and Sunday during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The various guides allowed all visitors to discover the behind-the-scenes work of a racing team, day and night.

Thank you for their unwavering support.

Photos were taken during this 93rd edition by our photographers Paola Depalmas and François Rocagel. Their biggest challenge was not to take too many, because then they have to sort through them. So they have their own process to be as efficient as possible and feed the communications department as quickly as possible. (Watch the galerie : here)
