Fifteen days out of time
Le Mans isn’t just a car race. It’s a two-week interlude where time speeds up, where adrenaline replaces sleep, and where every team member lives to the rhythm of a shared goal: to be ready when the flag drops.
For IDEC SPORT, this edition holds a special significance. 2026 marks the team’s 10th participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ten human journeys, ten starts, thousands of hours of preparation, memories etched in time, and always that same thrill when the first laps begin.
But behind the drivers and the lap times, there are above all men and women. A close-knit, passionate staff—some experienced… and others completely new to the game.

One team, many stories
In the IDEC SPORT pits, paths cross.
There are those who know Le Mans by heart. Those who have already experienced 10, 15, or even 28 editions of the world’s greatest endurance race. They can recognize the circuit’s unique atmosphere from the very first days of setup. They know the short nights, the fatigue that sets in, the unexpected issues that always pop up at the worst possible moment.
And then there are the newcomers. Those for whom this will be a first. Their first rush of adrenaline in the pit lane. Their first taste of Le Mans’s electric energy. Their first thrill as they hear the crowd fill the grandstands.
Within the team, this mix is the collective’s strength. The veterans naturally pass on their habits, their instincts, and their experience. The newcomers bring fresh energy, infectious excitement, and a different perspective.
At Le Mans, everyone has something to learn. And everyone also has something to contribute.

Preparing for Le Mans: Much More Than Just Mechanics
For months, the teams prepare for this event. The car, of course. The procedures, the setups, the simulations, the logistics.
But participating at Le Mans also requires human preparation. Because living on-site for two weeks demands meticulous organization. The pace is intense. Days start early and end late. Between practice sessions, briefings, technical adjustments, and the unexpected, downtime is scarce.
So everyone learns to work together.
The mechanics take turns. The engineers analyze data late into the night. The logistics staff ensures that everything runs smoothly. The communications team captures every moment while also experiencing the race from the inside.
As the days go by, a true collective routine takes shape.
We anticipate moments of fatigue.
We notice when a colleague is doubting themselves or starting to burn out.
We naturally help one another.
A 10th participation filled with emotion
This 10th participation is not just a statistic for IDEC SPORT. It symbolizes years of passion, hard work, and dedication. Hundreds of people have helped write the team’s history at Le Mans.
And in 2026, a new chapter will be written. With the regulars. With the newcomers. With doubts, excitement, fatigue, and the desire to go even further.
Because at Le Mans, more than anywhere else, people make the difference.Because at Le Mans, no one goes through this adventure alone.
