Between races, the cars are completely stripped down and inspected.
Every component is checked, replaced or adjusted if necessary.
During the race itself, mechanics sometimes have only a few seconds to complete a driver change, fit four new tyres or solve a technical issue.
Movements repeated hundreds of times in practice until they become almost instinctive.
The engineers: turning data into decisions
An endurance racing car generates an incredible amount of information.
Temperatures. Pressures. Fuel consumption. Tyre wear. Performance data.
Engineers analyse this information continuously.
Their job is not only to understand what is happening.
More importantly, it is to help the team make the right decision at the right time.
The strategists: always thinking several moves ahead
Should we pit now?
Should we wait for a possible Full Course Yellow or Safety Car?
Should we change the tyres, or keep them for another stint?
Every decision can gain—or lose—several positions.

Long before the first engine fires up, dozens of people are already working behind the scenes.
