IDEC SPORT forced to retire from the Spa-Francorchamps 12-Hour Race

A problem with the brakes ruined the chances of the Mercedes AMG GT3 of making any progress after seven hours and forty minutes of racing. The breakage of the ABS block forced #17 to stay in the pits after covering 675 miles. This was another blow for the French team after suffering damage to the suspension yesterday. They had however been performing well. The three drivers, Patrice Lafargue, Paul Lafargue and Dimitri Enjalbert did not make any mistakes and showed they were on form. In spite of being forced to retire, the performance from the drivers in the IDEC SPORT team was top class. They can look forward to getting some good results in their next races.

The third race in the 24-Hour Series will take place in the Czech Republic on 24th and 25th May with the Brno 12-Hour Race.
