I would like to thank the ACO for considering us once again and including us in the most beautiful peloton in the world. It is always magical to see the team’s name on the entry list for this legendary race. Le Mans is legendary. This is our tenth participation and we still feel the same sense of wonder as we did when we first took part. I know that the drivers and staff will give their all, as they always do. We have had some great moments at Le Mans, as well as some big disappointments. But I already know that we will make sure that this 94th edition ends in the best possible way.

It is always an honor to be chosen from among the 62 cars in the world to participate in this prestigious race. Although we have been invited for many years, participating in Le Mans is never a given. Every year, we wait impatiently and with a little pressure for the ACO to unveil the list of entrants. We prepare for a year, hoping to be selected. It’s a gamble, but we have to be ready just in case. So when we see the team’s name on the list, it’s a very emotional and proud moment for the whole team. With Paul (Lafargue) and Job (Van Uitert), we can count on a high-performing duo who know each other very well and have experience at Le Mans. The LMP2 category is very competitive. It’s up to us to do what we do best and remain humble in the face of the formidable challenge that this circuit represents.

Paul Lafargue, driver of the #28

“I feel like a child living out his dream. Racing at Le Mans is always an extraordinary experience, a unique moment filled with emotion and challenges. I would like to thank the ACO for this opportunity, which also recognizes the work accomplished by the entire IDEC SPORT team. This will be my tenth time participating in this legendary race, and I am just as excited as ever. We know that the competition is fierce and that every detail counts, but we are ready to take on the challenge.”

This means that a total of 18 additional LMP2 cars will join the field, which also includes 18 Hypercars and 25 GT3s, for a total of 62 cars. IDEC SPORT returns to the Sarthe with the firm intention of averting the fate of 2025 and adding another line to its list of achievements, which already includes a European championship title in 2019, a podium finish at Le Mans in 2024 (3rd) and two pole positions in LMP2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2018 and 2023).
