On February 12, 2026, l’USON Nevers Rugby osted Colombier Rugby as part of Round 20 of the Pro D2. Despite a committed and closely fought match, the Nevers side were defeated at home (27–39).
In a fast-paced and open contest, USON Nevers Rugby rose to the challenge posed by an opponent that has been difficult to contain this season. Colombier Rugby, solid in the opening stages, confirmed their control by relying on strong organisation and greater efficiency at key moments.
Despite the energy shown and several strong phases of play, USON were unable to gain a lasting upper hand. A lack of precision in the final third and a few questionable attacking decisions allowed Colombier to maintain the gap.
This home defeat — the first at Pré-Fleuri in a long time — complicates Nevers’ pursuit of a playoff qualification.
