Having several cars in a category as demanding as LMP2, in a championship as competitive as the ELMS and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is a real logistical and human challenge. At IDEC SPORT, every member of the technical team is rigorously and passionately committed to ensuring the performance and reliability of the cars.
A dozen technicians work full-time at the team’s headquarters. During race weekends, the team expands to 40 people in the ELMS and around 60 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, all focused on a single goal: to provide the drivers with the best conditions to express their talent on the track.
Each car has a dedicated staff, allowing for optimal race management and seamless coordination. Recognized for their true value, these men and women behind the scenes are the real architects of IDEC SPORT’s success.
From the race engineer to the race performance and mechanics, including the technical director, the team principal, the systems engineers, the engineers, the regulations, logistics, the osteopath, the tires, team coordination, communication and press, marketing, catering, carbon specialists, and stickering, they are all recognized for their true value.
These men and women behind the scenes are the true architects of IDEC SPORT’s success.
The IDEC SPORT Racing Team now invites you to join them on Wednesday, June 11 for free practice, which will begin at 2:00 p.m., before participating in the hyperpole in its new format
