24H SERIES: IDEC SPORT RACING TAKING PART IN THE 12-HOUR RACE AT THE RED BULL RING

IDEC Sport Racing will be in Austria this week to compete in the 12-Hour race at the Red Bull Ring. In the Mercedes AMG GT3, Patrice Lafargue, Paul Lafargue and Dimitri Enjalbert are aiming to achieve a second podium place or victory.

The 24-Hour Series is taking place in Austria for the first time, but there is no time to discover the mountains and tourist attractions. IDEC Sport Racing is aiming to get a good result at the Red Bull Ring. After making it to the podium at Mugello, the team comprising Patrice and Paul Lafargue and Dimitri Enjalbert will be hoping to equal that result in the third event in the championship in the homeland of the triple F1 World champion, Niki Lauda.

The Mercedes AMG GT3 #17 will be racing on the track at the Red Bull Ring, which belongs to head of the energy drink firm, Dieter Mateschitz, on Friday morning for two and a half hours of trials and then the qualifiers at 10.15 a.m. As at Mugello the race will be split into two parts. The start of the 12-Hour Race at the Red Bull Ring will take place on Friday 7th April at 2.15 in the afternoon. The cars will return to the parc fermé after three and a half hours of racing. The race will start again on Saturday 8th April at 9.15 in the morning. The 34 cars will race around the 4.326 km track in Austria until 5.45 p.m.
