FRANCIS JOYON HAS CONFIRMED THAT HE WILL FINISH IN LONDON TOMORROW MORNING

The weather conditions in the English Channel and for the sail up the Thames are tricky, but should not stop Francis Joyon and the crew of IDEC SPORT from completing their attempt at the Tea Route record tomorrow morning. They should finish in style four days ahead of the record time.

Francis Joyon and his router back on dry land, Christian Dumard talked things over this afternoon and came to the same analysis about the ETA for the IDEC SPORT maxi-trimaran under the QE II Bridge, which marks the finish line for the Tea Route.

The boat is set to enter the Thames early in the morning between 5 and 6 local time and then cross the line between 7 and 9 local time. The boat will then make her way up the Thames to London, where she is expected to arrive at between 10 and noon before mooring up close to Tower Bridge.
