The Sodebo Ultim 3 crew had been standing by for several days. On Monday, December 15, at 9:01 p.m. (French time), @covillethomas and his navigators crossed the starting line off the coast of Ushant, with a single goal in mind: to beat the legendary record (set in 2017) in less than 40 days, 23 hours, and 30 minutes.
To claim the record, Sodebo Ultim 3 must cross the finish line at Ushant before January 25 at 8:31 p.m. and 35 seconds (French time).

You’re right, Alexia Barrier, also also competing in the Jules Verne Trophy with The Famous Project CIC: “The sea is even more beautiful when several stories are being written there at the same time.”
