New to the team, Chilean driver Nicolas Pino was in the car for the start. After a strong stint, he handed the wheel over to Reshad de Gerus. After only four laps, the Frenchman was hit by the Ferrari #55. The contact caused significant damage to the left side of the Oreca IDEC SPORT, which could no longer continue on track. Reshad de Gerus is fine.
