Time to get out the shorts and sunglasses, as it is going to be hot in Italy this weekend. IDEC SPORT will be competing in the Imola 12-Hour Race on 25th and 26th May. For the third meeting of the season in the 24-Hour Series, the French team is heading to Bologna with the Mercedes AMG GT3 #17, with Patrice Lafargue, Dimitri Enjalbert and Paul Lafargue at the wheel. The latter will be taking advantage of this endurance race to have a final practice run before the Le Mans 24-Hour Race on 16th-17th Junen. David Abramczyk, Romain Vozniak and St\u00e9phane Adler will be racing in the Porsche 991 Cup #75.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both teams have the same goal – winning. The overall rankings for #17 and the Cup rankings for the #75. They are going to have to fight hard on the legendary Imola course, as more than fifty cars will be taking part.<\/p>\n

Battle begins late on Friday morning with a 45-minute qualifier. IDEC SPORT will be fighting to get another front place on the grid. In an endurance race, the qualifier is not as important as in a sprint, but during the Imola 12-Hour race it is seen as important, with so many cars lining up and the need to get away from any trouble.<\/p>\n

The start of the first part of the race will be at 3.30 in the afternoon on Friday 25th. They will all then come to a halt four hours later in the paddock. The rankings will be established and another start given for the second part of the race at 11.30 on Saturday morning. The IDEC SPORT drivers will be trying to cover as many laps as they can of the 4.9 km circuit at the Autodrome Enzo e Dino Ferrari before crossing the finish at 7.30 in the evening.<\/p>\n
