IDEC Sport is back in the 24-Hour Series with two cars: the Mercedes AMG GT3 and the Porsche 991 Cup. After a mixed batch of results in the first three events of the season (once on the podium and twice forced to retire), the team really has no choice but to score points.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The IDEC Sport mechanics have done a very good job since the 12-Hour Race at the RedBull Ring and have got the Mercedes AMG GT3 #17 back in shape after her violent slide off the track. Patrice and Paul Lafargue will be sharing the wheel with Dimitri Enjalbert and Alban Varutti in the leading A6 category at the 24-Hour Paul Ricard race.<\/p>\n

The Porsche 991 Cup IDEC Sport will also be back after her bad luck early in the season. The trio formed by David Abramczyk, Romain Vosniak and St\u00e9phane Adler will be sharing the work aboard the #75 on the Castellet track.<\/p>\n

Like the other 28 cars competing, the two IDEC Sport crews will have 45 minutes to qualify on Friday afternoon to try to get the best position on the grid.<\/p>\n

The green flag will be waved at 2.30 on Saturday 6th May. The drivers will have 24 hours to get around the 5.8km\u00a0 fast and technical track. A safe track with many new facilities, which will enable them to host the Formula1 cars next year. The IDEC drivers will have the advantage of knowing the ten bends and the Mercedes AMG and are therefore hoping for a good result in the South of France.<\/p>\n
