Today (Saturday) was one more step towards the race itself. And it is a major leap in fact, as they have been leaving the pontoons.<\/p>\n<p>The maxi-trimaran IDEC SPORT\u00a0cast off early this afternoon just after Sodebo Ultim\u2019. Aboard, Francis, the shore team and a few well-known keen supporters, Gw\u00e9nol\u00e9 Gahinet and Bernard Stamm (holders of the Jules Verne Trophy with Francis). It was a fast trip with the crowds turning out ashore and on the water in the sunshine in Saint-Malo\u2026 The boat is now moored up to a buoy close to the neighbouring resort of Dinard.
