It\u2019s back to work time for the IDEC SPORT maxi-trimaran, which took part in the first race in the Multihull Trophy on Tuesday morning. Francis Joyon and his crewmen sailed a 38-mile course around Houat and Ho\u00ebdic competing against Thomas Coville\u2019s Sodebo Ultim\u2019. The pair are starting to get used to fighting duels, as they already battled it out against each other at the Nice UltiMed last May.
\nIn winds that remained light or were absent in the last few miles, Sodebo Ultim\u2019 was the first to cross the line, finishing just three minutes before Joyon and his boys.
\nThis is a gentle way to ease back into racing, but it woke up Francis\u2019s competitive spirit with less than 70 days to go to the start of the Route du Rhum, destination Guadeloupe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
