A historic weekend for IDEC SPORT LEGEND at Spa-Francorchamps and Le Castellet<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IDEC SPORT LEGEND enjoyed a particularly intense and emotionally charged weekend at two major historic motorsport events: the Legends Of Le Mans by Peter Auto at Spa-Francorchamps and the Grand Prix de France Historique at Le Castellet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created to bring iconic cars from motorsport history back to life and back on the track, IDEC SPORT LEGEND builds on IDEC SPORT\u2019s commitment to modern endurance racing. Through this programme dedicated to historic racing, the team showcases a unique mechanical heritage whilst maintaining the standards of performance, preparation and professionalism for which IDEC SPORT is renowned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This positive momentum also echoes the excellent results achieved a week earlier by IDEC SPORT in the European Le Mans Series at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet. Competing in modern endurance racing, the team delivered a solid performance there, confirming its competitiveness on both historic circuits and in today\u2019s international championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between a historic first podium in Belgium and a standout performance by Paul Lafargue in historic Formula 1, IDEC SPORT LEGEND is thus confirming its rise to prominence in the world of historic motorsport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A superb second place at Spa-Francorchamps in Legends Of Le Mans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, IDEC SPORT LEGEND secured its very first podium finish in Legends Of Le Mans by Peter Auto thanks to a magnificent second place at the wheel of the Ligier JSP2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a difficult first race, the team bounced back perfectly in the second round with a well-executed strategy and a particularly fast pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IDEC SPORT LEGEND driver Alexandre Leroy reflects on the performance: \u201cThe start went quite well, despite a slight concern at the first corner with a rival. After that, the pace was really high and the team asked me to push right to the end to secure our position. All in all, a brilliant race, an effective strategy and a podium finish to boot!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This result marks an important milestone for IDEC SPORT LEGEND and confirms the team\u2019s potential in historic endurance racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul Lafargue impresses on his historic Formula 1 debut<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight of the weekend: Paul Lafargue\u2019s performance at the French Historic Grand Prix at Le Castellet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his very first experience behind the wheel of a historic Formula 1 car, and without any prior testing, Paul Lafargue immediately distinguished himself against a particularly strong field of 27 competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the wheel of Jochen Mass\u2019s 1982 March, he secured a remarkable 12th place on the grid before staging a superb charge through the field during the race to reach 6th position. Despite making contact with a rival towards the end of the race, he finished in a very creditable 9th place. Qualifying 9th for Race 2, Paul held onto that position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A performance hailed by the entire IDEC SPORT LEGEND team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upcoming events: Le Mans Classic and the 24 Hours of Le Mans<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this successful weekend at Spa-Francorchamps and Le Castellet, IDEC SPORT LEGEND is now turning its attention to one of the season\u2019s major events: Le Mans Classic, scheduled for early July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, IDEC SPORT will also continue its involvement in modern endurance racing with the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Car #28 will be entrusted to Paul Lafargue, Valerio Rinicella and Job Van Uitert for this unmissable event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
