Paul Lafargue, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Job Van Uitert have once again agreed to team up for another season in the European Endurance Championship aboard IDEC SPORT’s #28 LMP2 car. Experienced and feared by other teams, these three drivers are used to working together.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does Team Principal Nicolas Minassian think?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have three drivers who get along very well both on and off the track. We know what each one is capable of and what they need. I take my hat off to Paul, who is classified as \u201dsilver” and fights hard in every race against professional drivers in the same category. He stands up to them even though it’s not his main job. They’re a competitive trio.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three drivers are always happy to join the team, whether in the workshop, during testing, or on race weekends. It may sound silly to say, but when you’re having fun, you generally perform well. They’ve built relationships with every member of the team. When it comes to finding that extra tenth of a second, I know they give their all to get it. I have complete confidence in them. They are warriors. They tick all the boxes that a team like IDEC SPORT is looking for. We will be counting on them for the 2026 edition.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re there for the team, not for themselves<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Always striving for performance and progress, Paul Lafargue<\/strong> is considered one of the best \u201csilver\u201d drivers on the ELMS grid. He has solid experience with nine appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including a podium finish in 2024, and a European championship title in 2019 in ELMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul-Loup Chatin<\/strong>, one of the finest endurance drivers around, is starting his eighth season with IDEC SPORT in the ELMS. Pole position at Le Mans in 2018 and 2023, winner at Daytona in 2022, ELMS champion in 2019 and 2014, official Alpine driver from 2023 to 2025 and recently recruited by Genesis Magma Racing for the 2026 WEC season, the 35-year-old Frenchman is a formidable opponent for the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to his speed, consistency, and ability to manage traffic, Dutchman Job Van Uitert<\/strong> is one of the best endurance drivers, as his CV attests: an ELMS LMP3 championship title, five seasons in LMP2 with experience in ELMS, WEC, and IMSA, as well as six appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including a podium finish in 2024. At 27, Job is entering his third season with IDEC SPORT with a single goal in mind: to add the European championship title to his list of achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Paul-Loup<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 ELMS<\/a> season will once again feature six races of 4 hours, kicking off at the famous Barcelona circuit in Spain on April 11 and 12, 2026, before moving on to Le Castellet on the weekend of May 2-3, then Imola in Italy on July 4-5, followed by a summer break. The season will resume on August 23 in Belgium at Spa-Francorchamps, continue in England at Silverstone on September 12-13, and end traditionally in Portugal at Portimao on October 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
