Red and Black<\/strong>
After two seasons in blue, IDEC SPORT returns to its original colors. The #28, driven by Paul Lafargue, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Job Van Uitert, adopts its classic black base, highlighted by the IDEC SPORT red and a chrome roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2025 design, IDEC SPORT wanted to blend modernity with history. A livery that had never been used before was selected from a dozen proposals, while still incorporating nods to previous seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe worked again with the two designers who created the livery in 2022. For 2025, we wanted to return to our colors and reflect on our history. We drew inspiration from the cars of 2018 and 2021, but we still wanted it to feel new, especially for this special year and IDEC SPORT\u2019s 10th anniversary,\u201d explains Paul Lafargue, who remains highly involved in the design of his car. \u201cWe\u2019re going back to the original colors. It\u2019s sentimental for me; these are the colors of the IDEC group and IDEC SPORT. I\u2019ve always raced with a bit of red. We\u2019re starting to have a history, and we\u2019re highlighting it. This design also needed to fit with the second car and the orange.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis Magma Racing Affirms Its Identity<\/strong>
The #18 car follows the same design but is adorned with Genesis Magma Racing\u2019s orange. The orange is reminiscent of molten magma. The sides and front of the car are marked with the GMR logo. The rear wing and doors carry the full “Genesis Magma Racing” inscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe design looks great. Plus, these are the colors I used in karting. I can\u2019t wait to race with it. We need to get comfortable and see where we stand compared to the other teams. For my part, I want to see how I compare to the best drivers. I\u2019ll focus on my rhythm, especially with cold tires. We\u2019ll also focus on traffic management, which is a key point in ELMS,\u201d says Mathys Jaubert, ready to race in his first LMP2 event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barcelona, a Crucial First Week<\/strong>

\u201cThe winter passed quickly again! I\u2019m really excited to start this new season. Two LMP2 cars and new drivers and partners\u2014that takes a lot of investment, so we\u2019ve worked hard to be ready. Barcelona is a tough track in terms of tire degradation, so strategy will be very important. As for the goals of the first race, I prefer to stay humble; a top 5 would be a good start. The championship is very competitive, so we need to have a solid race, both from the drivers and the team, with no mistakes. From there, we\u2019ll be in a good position to score big points in the championship. I have real confidence in the team and the drivers, for both cars. Everyone is motivated to be as performant as possible. Vamos a Barcelona!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
