N2. THE BF41 DID NOT SPOIL THE CELEBRATIONS IN LE PUY

Le Puy – Blois : 2-0. Up against the leader, who had to win to be promoted, Blois was not strong enough. After being promoted last season, they finish sixth after an encouraging season.

To be promoted to the National division, Le Puy had to win and it was soon decided. In the first minutes, the players led by the former Sologne attacker Roland Vieira piled the pressure on Pellerey’s goal. Allevinah attacked the visitor’s defense and Patrao was close by to pick up one of his centres (3rd). With a pass from the centre forward, Chergui was magical, but his kick was above the posts (6th). Blois was suffering and it was just the start.
After finding Pelleray, with a superb hit (15th), Allevinah continued to threaten Kouyaté. After a free kick that was quickly taken by Dufau, the international player from Gabon got past the left back and passed to Patrao, whose kick went in on a deflection from Chergui (1-0, 23rd minute).
Le Puy remained determined to go up and continued to push hard.
Le Puy made the break on a counter-attack and for five minutes they had a series of opportunities in the goal area. Sall hit the post (26’), then missed the rebounder, although alone just two metres from the goal (28’). Opportunities that the local team could have regretted.
